The Roman’s Road

Welcome to this web page. You may have visited because you got a CD with the web site listed on it. I want to take a little time to help explain the songs that you heard on the CD.

The songs come from the Holy Bible and they express the situation of each of us and how much God loves each of us. It is called the Gospel and we want to share it with the CD and here because we know that it contains the power of God and we should not be ashamed of it.

Romans 1:16

For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile.

See, we may be basically good, but we all do bad things which the Bible calls sin. Have you ever lied about anything. That is sin and you’re not alone which we learn from a song on the CD

Romans 3:23

for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

Everyone sins and there are consequences to that. Romans 6:23 (which is not on the CD) says that the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life. God wants to have that relationship with us. So much so that God sent His Son Jesus to come to earth, take the penalty for our sin even when we did not deserve it, while we were still disobeying Him, sinning.

Romans 5:8

But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

That alone is amazing, but we also know that even when we go through hard times that God can take that and use it for His good…

Romans 8:28

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

So the question becomes, how do have that relationship with God? How do we know that our debt has been paid and we can spend eternity with God? The answer…

Romans 10:9

If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

Romans 10:13 (not on CD)

for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

If you believe what Jesus did for you, dying on the cross for you, rising again on the third day, then you will be saved and as it says in 2 Corinthians 5:17, when you believe, the old has gone and everything is made new! There will be a change in your life as you begin to follow Jesus.

That’s what the Bible tells us and now it is up to you to make a decision. While you follow what you’ve just heard, or will you disregard it?

James 1:22

Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.

Our prayer is that you come to know Jesus, what He has done for you, and you begin to follow Him.

Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions, and please let us know if you have decided to follow Jesus.
